Two poorly known species of psyllid, Pauropsylla longipes, and Pauropsylla willcocksi (Triozidae) develop on Ficus gnaphalocarpa. (Moraceae), an African wild fig tree, whose fruits are widely eaten locally and used in traditional pharmacopoeia. Based on specimens collected in the western highlands of Cameroon (Koutaba, Noun Division), some morphological details of the two species are supplied. P. longipes differs from other Pauropsylla species by the presence of a long caudal process in immature, the absence of a ventroapical spur on the forecoxa and a sexual dimorphism in coloration, the male being darker than the female. As for P. willcocksi, this species is distinguishable by an uneven marginal fringe of truncate sectaseate, moderately dense and the dorsum covered with truncate sectasetae. Likewise, additional information on their biology is provided and their relationships with their host plant are well enlightened. Immatures of the two psyllid species feed and grow on the underside of the leaves of F. gnaphalocarpa. In P. longipes, they are free living while in P. willcocksi, they are galls forming. It is a case of sympatric distribution without separation of niches but different feeding behaviours.
