In this work, a nonlocal diffusion viral infection within-host model with logistic hepatocyte growth is analyzed. The latter takes into account absorption effect and the usage of the standard incidence force for viral infection in a spatially heterogeneous environment. We first establish the well-posedness, boundedness and asymptotic smoothness of this model. Furthermore, the perturbation technique has enabled us to define the basic reproduction number [Formula: see text] and a threshold [Formula: see text] such that if [Formula: see text], the infection-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Next, we show that the model is uniformly persistent when [Formula: see text]. Finally, we present some numerical simulations to confirm our obtained theoretical results.
